Privacy Policy
Introduction
Birel ("Birel", "we", "our", or "us") provides pre-deal verification infrastructure designed to help counterparties establish transaction readiness before sensitive engagement begins.
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be processed when users access the platform, submit materials for verification workflows, or interact with Birel services.
Birel is designed around principles of minimal exposure, controlled processing environments, and limited data persistence.
Scope of the Platform
Birel is not a broker, escrow agent, transfer agent, law firm, investment advisor, compliance provider, or due diligence service.
The platform is intended solely to support structured pre-deal qualification workflows between counterparties in private market transactions.
Birel does not determine legal ownership, validate enforceability of assets, confirm transaction legitimacy, or guarantee transaction outcomes.
Information Submitted Through Verification Workflows
Users may voluntarily submit materials related to transaction qualification workflows, including:
- proof of funds,
- ownership-related documentation,
- allocation or mandate confirmations,
- LP commitment materials,
- investment approval documentation,
- or other transaction readiness materials.
Submitted materials are processed for structural verification purposes only.
Depending on workflow configuration, the system may evaluate:
- document category consistency,
- required field presence,
- metadata consistency,
- document recency,
- basic cross-field validation,
- or workflow completeness.
Transient Processing Principles
Birel is designed to minimize unnecessary persistence of submitted materials.
Verification workflows are intended to operate within controlled processing environments where documents are processed for active verification purposes and are not intended to remain broadly accessible after verification workflows complete.
Counterparties do not receive direct access to each other's uploaded materials unless independently shared outside the platform.
Under standard automated workflows, Birel personnel are not intended to manually review submitted documents.
AI Processing
Certain workflows may utilize automated AI-assisted systems to evaluate structural document characteristics and workflow consistency.
AI systems are intended to operate in inference-based workflows only.
Submitted materials are not intended to be used for:
- model training,
- external dataset generation,
- behavioral profiling,
- or unrelated commercial purposes.
Birel does not represent that automated systems are error-free, complete, or capable of determining legal or factual truth.
Data Retention
Birel aims to minimize unnecessary storage of sensitive materials.
Certain operational metadata, system logs, verification status records, security events, or workflow records may be retained for operational integrity, fraud prevention, legal compliance, service improvement, or audit-related purposes.
Retention periods may vary depending on infrastructure, security requirements, legal obligations, and platform configuration.
Security
Birel utilizes commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to reduce unauthorized access, misuse, disruption, or disclosure.
Security measures may include:
- encrypted transmission,
- isolated processing environments,
- controlled access systems,
- workflow monitoring,
- and infrastructure-level security controls.
However, no digital system, infrastructure, or transmission environment can be guaranteed fully secure.
Users acknowledge that use of the platform involves inherent technological and cybersecurity risks.
Third-Party Services
Birel may rely on third-party infrastructure providers, cloud services, payment processors, analytics providers, authentication systems, or communication services.
Such providers may process limited operational information as necessary to support platform functionality.
Use of third-party services remains subject to their respective policies and operational practices.
User Responsibilities
Users remain solely responsible for:
- the legality of submitted materials,
- obtaining necessary permissions,
- conducting independent due diligence,
- validating counterparty legitimacy,
- and complying with applicable laws, contractual obligations, and confidentiality requirements.
Birel does not replace legal, financial, compliance, tax, or investigative review.
Changes to this Policy
Birel may modify or update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the platform evolves.
Continued use of the platform following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
